Ingredients:

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for topping)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

    I have to admit, I used this recipe as a guide and tweaked it a bit. I did not add the tomato sauce, used 3 cups of pasta, and had a diakon to use. I had never cooked it before, but I found a recipe and figured it would work, and it did make it tasty and interesting.

    Would be nice if there was a print option.
